What a thrilling season this has been! I am so grateful that we have had the opportunity to travel extensively this year, as my spouse, Dr. Douglas Duno, is on sabbatical leave for the entire academic year. We just returned from 17 mind-expanding days in Colombia, beginning in Bogotá, where I took another two-week language immersion course while Douglas studied the history, arts and culture of Colombia, as part of his sabbatical research. We then flew to Cartagena for three full days of exploring this gem — a port city founded in 1533 on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Here are some photos which provide a glimpse of our recent adventures. Enjoy!
