Canterbury sings Bach’s Magnificat
Preparing Bach's Magnificat was a turning point in the life of Canterbury Choir. It was one of those repertoire-stretching experiences that brought the musicianship level of all to a higher level. Because of the generosity of two choir families we were able to hire the orchestra and offer this magnificent choral work as part of our Advent Evensong. It was hard work, over several months, and in the end, an incredibly joyful and fulfilling experience.
