I am excited that I will be taking a short sabbatical this summer. Postponed from 2015 because of the sudden vacancy in the associate organist-position and the resulting national search last May-June, I will be on sabbatical and vacation this summer, Monday, June 6 through Monday, September 5.

Weicheng Zhao, the brilliant Associate Organist-Choirmaster at All Saints Church, will compete this June in the final rounds of the prestigious 2016 National Young Artists Competition in Organ Performance of the American Guild of Organists (AGO).
Ed Bacon's final Sunday as rector of All Saints; my final service in the street! It was a labor of love and a joyful celebration of Ed's powerful ministry at All Saints. And as my fingers were burning on the hot keys of the piano, as I led communion music, I joyfully realized that I need not do this again. It's a "both/and" world.
