This was a really fun concert, and I'll always remember that it was my public singing debut as a baritone. I was studying voice with Barbara Dyer, my music department colleague at Occidental College. We worked really hard, and I held my own with these four fantastic singers — especially on the Finale!

What I remember most about this event was taking the group out to dinner at a nice restaurant in Pasadena (no longer there) and laughing so hard we thought we'd never recover. The arrival of Sara's entrée — a full plate of carp that looked like it had just been caught — threw us over the edge!
