We are very excited about Vox Cambiata, a new vocal ensemble for 6th-12th grade male voices (unchanged and changed). After doing a barbershop ensemble workshop with all male voices in Trouvères last spring, the guys decided that they would like to keep the group going. Last season, they sang their first piece together at the Youth Choirs Spring Concert, and they are all very excited to sing together this fall.

Vox Cambiata (“Voice Change”) is open to any male voice who sings in Trouvères. The group will sing in many different styles and will rehearse every other Sunday at 11:15 AM, alternating rehearsal dates with Youth Chamber Choir (treble voices). A detailed schedule of rehearsals has been prepared, with the first rehearsal on October 4 2015. The young men’s first performance is Sunday, December 20, 2015 at 9:00 AM.

Having personally worked with the Trouvères changing voices from 2000 to 2008, I am thrilled that Jenny Tisi is able to offer this new opportunity.
